Lydgate contest is hosted by the White Hart Inn, Stockport Road, Lydgate. The march takes place along Stockport Road.

Hot food is available on-site and there are picnic tables.
Please come to one of our fund raising quiz nights. These are held on the first Tuesday of each month - 8.30pm at the White Hart. Refreshments provided.
A special thank you to all the bands who attended the Prize Presentation Evening for the Lydgate and Grotton Band Contests. It was a great success because of you - especially as some people had travelled from as far afield as Leicester and Northampton to be there.
Thank you also to Oldham Band (Lees) for entertaining us with a varied programme of music. What a talented group of young people they are. Thank you also to the White Hart for the supper and the help given by the staff. Altogether a superb evening.
We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.
